I'm a self confessed book addict! I have loved books ever since I was little, I've always been an early riser and there are family stories of me being given books to read in my cot while everyone else got an extra few minutes in bed! To me, there is so much excitement in holding a new book and imagining all that it holds. I grew up in a family of readers and every Saturday we would walk down to the local library to see what new ones books may have arrived.
This is something I hope to pass on to my girls. Before my eldest started school (and the pandemic put a hold on things for my youngest), we would go to the library story time group once a week and leave with at least 10 new books. I'm sure there was a point I had more texts on my phone from the library than anyone else! I also can't resist books from charity shops - there are normally some good quality childrens books that other children have grown out of. I guess to me, books are an investment, a world of adventure and information.
And this is why I'm really happy to announce an add on to wonderfilled! I've partnered up with Bookshop UK which is a website that promotes books from small, local bookshops. This means that when we find a good book, I can pass the recommendation onto you! At the moment, I have three lists on the page that I will add to; our favourite story books, our favourite ideas books and books that help us to wonder.

It is an affiliate link so I will recieve a small percentage if you buy a book that we have recommended through the link but to me, it was more important to support local bookshops, especially in these times.
