We first started making these when biggest girl started weaning. It took a while to get used to the texture of the pancake while cooking (they're usually a bit gloopy) but they're really easy to make (and eat!) together (we tend to eat them with chocolate spread or yoghurt).

All you need is egg and a banana. I doubled up on the recipe here and made 10 pancakes with 2 bananas and 2 eggs.

Pull the bananas into pieces and mash/blend in with the egg.

Fry about a desert spoon at a time in oil in a hot pan.

Flip once they are bubbling through. This is the hard bit as they can still be a little runny on top.

Serve warm with chocolate or yoghurt or what ever you like.
You can even make chocolate pancakes by adding about a desert spoon of cocoa powder into the mixture.
