This started off being one of those lovely activities I saw on the t'internet somewhere where the children delicately paint the snow. The problem with those posts is that they rarely factor in the natural exploring and experimenting that children do when they play! The result was lots more mess and lots more fun!!
I filled up some old gu pots with water and food colouring and we headed outside with some medicine syringes, paintbrushes and spoons.
The girls started by experimenting mixing the colours and then started adding leaves, grass and snow. They were so excited to see the snow absorbing the food colouring when they dipped it into the tubs and really enjoyed being creative.
