I'm going to start by saying that we microwave out toilet rolls for 2mins first which I was once told kills off any bugs. I've never looked this up but I still do it because it makes me feel better!!
This is a pretty messy craft and will take a few coats and a bit of time to finish. We worked on them over a few days.
Chop the toilet rolls up into thirds. If you want an even finish, you should probably measure them. Obviously we didn't!! Paint them any colour you would like. Depending on how messy you want to get, you might want to let the outsides dry first before painting the insides.
Assemble them together in a triangle formation (we used pegs to hold them together while they dry) and there you have it! Unusually enough, we didn't cover ours in glitter and Christmas stickers but it is entirely up to you!!
