Make: Weather Cloud

This was meant to be an experiment to show clouds and the water cycle but I think we had so much fun that I don't think we even talked about it!!

You will need

• A jug or large jar

• Shaving foam

• Food colouring

• Pipettes (we used medicine syringes!) or spoons

Make it

• Fill the cup around half full of water

• Fill with shaving foam up to the top

• Mix the food colouring(s) in separate containers with a little water

• Drip the colouring a little at a time onto the foam

You will find that it takes a few drops for the colouring to become dense enough to 'break through' the cloud into the jar below. And it is rather pretty!
