This was meant to be an experiment to show clouds and the water cycle but I think we had so much fun that I don't think we even talked about it!!
You will need
A jug or large jar
Shaving foam
Food colouring
Pipettes (we used medicine syringes!) or spoons
Make it
Fill the cup around half full of water
Fill with shaving foam up to the top
Mix the food colouring(s) in separate containers with a little water
Drip the colouring a little at a time onto the foam
You will find that it takes a few drops for the colouring to become dense enough to 'break through' the cloud into the jar below. And it is rather pretty!
