Make; Ice decorations

These took a while for us to make as it wasn't as cold as it needed to be. If it had been quicker (or we'd had room in the freezer), the ice would probably have been clearer!

The girls collected some herbs, flowers and grass from the garden. We put them in some simple shallow plant pot holders and a tied loop of wool/string and poured on cooled, boiled water. We then left them outside overnight (though it took a few nights).

We hung the resulting decorations up outside and wondered how quickly they would melt!
