We invented these cards almost by accident last year when we were playing around with the glossy Christmas magazines you were given in almost every shop and supermarket. I was so impressed with how they came out, we decided to try again this year!
All you need is a glossy magazine (it doesn't even have to be Christmas!), some blank cards and a pair of scissors. With my youngest, I had already looked through the magazine to find some 'sparkly' pictures or nice patterns she might like to use. I've kept the rest for my eldest to look through and choose. It can be quite hard to find skin tome colours so I put them to one side when I did.
Then it was simply a matter of cutting a circle for the head, triangle for the body and 'leaf' shapes for the wings. Sometimes we just do one wing and the angle flies side ways, sometimes there is more than one angel. Sometimes the Angel even has hair! It is completely up to whoever is making it!
